Wrapped up in this declaration of Jesus are many important truths:

1. Jesus is the Master Builder. What he envisioned and planned from eternity (Gal 4:4) was perfect.

2. Jesus only promises that his Church will conquer death. 

3. We don't want to be a part of any church but the one that he built.

There are so many options for churches. Many are built by men, but only one is built by Jesus. His Church can easily be identified in the New Testament. We are that church. In belief and practice we follow the Builder.
